The primary accountability of the National Account Manager position is the comprehensive management of all assigned customer relationships involving selling, developing key relationships, developing new customer opportunities and delivering plan and forecast volumes for beverage & packaging closures, managing customer support services, and closure application equipment required to meet all customer expectations and business objectives. The National Account Manager is expected to be the expert resource for each assigned customer with extended responsibilities including discovery, cultivation, and business development from an initial opportunity through invoice payment.  Call Michele - 402-933-3351

The primary mission of the Regional Market Development Manager is to drive profitable sales growth through the tactical marketing plan of the geographic region including local line extensions, sales of existing products and development of local marketing materials. This Manager represents all Application Fields within a Market, and is the local source of market intelligence. Participates as key member of the launch team for new products in their region, as well as the local new products.

Requirements:
  • Create and present sales, technical service and customer support or training to drive regional sales.
  • Develop and coordinate marketing activities (PR, email communications, sample and promotional programs, tradeshows/events) within Application Field and Market; or cross-Market activities (catalogs, tradeshows/events).
  • Support the Business Development Manager(s) with regional consumer testing and other in market support as needed.
  • Participate in the development of global strategy for the Market.
  • Inspire, motivate and move team members to action. Provide personnel development and training.
  • Gather local market intelligence through customer interaction and other sources and disseminate throughout the Market Development team.
  • Work with the regional sales organization to develop account strategies with specific objectives and action items.
  • Member of the Market business team for new product introductions developing pricing, launch plans as well as coordinated rationalization.
  • Define and drive the local stock product and line extension developments and launches.
  • Planning, development and execution of all marketing and communication activities for existing products with the other regional market teams.
  • Participate in competitive intelligence gathering as well as Aptar Market database input and analysis for both Market results and competition.
  • Responsible for local language(s) on global website, Sales training and other promotional material.
  • Responsible for creation of regional support materials including collateral and sampling for the region, as well as customer presentation support for existing and launched products in coordination with Business Development Managers.
Qualifications:
  • Experience developing marketing campaigns and implementing action plans
  • 3+ years prior packaging experience in beverage
  • College or University degree required; with concentration in Marketing or Communications preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to communicate with executives, peers, and team members
